ABOUT

I work with leaders in high-consequence organisations to build Mental Fitness as performance architecture – the foundation sustainable excellence requires.

As a 4× World Champion freediver 2025 (M1) and 4× World Records holder (M1), I perform under literal life-or-death pressure. This isn’t metaphorical. At 79 meters depth on a single breath, mental fitness isn’t optional – it’s what keeps me alive.

But my expertise doesn’t come from achievement alone. It comes from transformation.

From ages 12 to 27, I battled severe depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Recovery taught me that the tools for mental health recovery are identical to those for sustainable high performance. Mental Fitness isn’t separate from excellence – it’s the foundation of it.

Today, I demonstrate 5 practical, science-backed Mental Fitness tools that rebuild self-trust, eliminate imposter syndrome and decision paralysis, and transform reactive crisis management into clear, confident, and sustainable performance. Not through theory or motivation, but through methods I’ve proven work under extreme pressure.

As an Advanced Oxygen Advantage and Buteyko Method Breathwork Instructor, I combine elite athletic performance, clinical mental health recovery, and professional breathwork certification to deliver what high-stakes sectors actually need: performance architecture that works when pressure is constant and clarity determines outcomes.

Two short films document my transformation:

Light Beams For Helena (2023) by Kirk Horton from Little Bear Creative (see above) won Best Short Film at London Mountain Film Festival 2024, Best Cinematography at 5 Point Film Festival 2023, and has been officially selected for numerous other festivals.  The original film was made in 2018 by Simeon Quarrie, Vivida.co.uk
